What is the difference between meltblown fabric and non-wove

Polypropylene is the main raw material of meltblown cloth, the fiber diameter can reach 1-5 microns, there are many voids, the structure is fluffy, and the bending resistance is good. These ultra-fine fibers with unique capillary structure increase the number and specific surface area of fibers per unit area.

Meltblown cloth has good filtering, shielding, heat insulation and oil absorption properties. It can be used for air, liquid filter materials, isolation materials, absorbent materials, mask materials, heat insulation materials, oil-absorbing materials and wet wipes.

The filter material is melt-blown polypropylene ultra-fine fibers, randomly distributed and bonded together, and the appearance is white, smooth, and the soft fiber size is 0.5-1.0. The random distribution of fibers provides more opportunities for thermal bonding between fibers .

In this way, a filter material with large specific surface area and porosity ≥75% can be obtained. After a very high pressure filtration efficiency, the product has the characteristics of low resistance, high efficiency, and high dust resistance.

Non-woven fabric, composed of oriented or random fibers. Because of its appearance and some product properties, it is called cloth.

The non-woven fabric has the characteristics of moisture-proof, breathable, flexible, light weight, non-combustible, easy to decompose, non-toxic and non-irritating, rich in color, low price, recyclable and so on. For example, polypropylene and PP materials; pellets are raw materials that undergo high-temperature melting, spinning, spreading, hot pressing and coiling.
